IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MOST KIND THE MOST MERCIFUL
SALUTATIONS BE UPON OUR BELOVED MASTER THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH THE ALMIGHTY IN ABUNDANCE.
My dear respected honourable readers,
As I am sure everyone will agree that the month of Ramadhan is flying away faster than a bird flies away from its cage. The month in which the mercy of ALLAH the Almighty and the forgiveness of ALLAH the Almighty is spread in abundance, the month which outweighs all the other eleven months is slipping away from our hands. We MUST take advantage of the days we have left and try our utmost best not to let even a single second go by without doing some kind of good. All praises are due to ALLAH the Almighty who through his infinite mercy and grace blessed us to see this sacred month.
My dear readers, there are many people who were here last year and are not here today to witness these days. I personally know of people who today have been buried six feet under and have been mixed with dust as they lay in their grave as your reading this post. People who did not even doubt that they will be here to see this month they are the very same people who today have left this world. We have a chance. A chance to repent and rectify our lives and to gain the proximity of ALLAH the Almighty. A chance to make amends with our creator and his creation. A chance to attain peace in this world and in hereafter. We must all regret the hours, minutes and seconds we have wasted in this month however we still got a few more days left to change our book of deeds… To wipe our sins away and to attain the pleasure of our creator.
Abu Hurairah (May ALLAH the Almighty be pleased with him) reports that the messenger of ALLAH the Almighty (peace and blessings be upon him) said;
The five (daily) prayers, and from one Friday prayer to the next, and from Ramadan to Ramadan are expiation for sins committed in between provided one stays away from the major sins. (Al-Bukhari).
It is also mentioned in another Hadith reported by Abu Hurairah (May ALLAH the Almighty be pleased with him) that the messenger of ALLAH the Almighty said;
Whoever observes fasts during the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping to attain Allah’s rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven.
(Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
Therefore my dear humble readers, we must exert much effort to reap the benefits and rewards from ALLAH the Almighty for our own salvation. We must try our best to attain rewards but most importantly my humble readers we need to ABSTAIN FROM SINS.
Sins melt our good deeds away just like snow melts on a hot day. A person who does not do many good deeds but stays away from sins is more closer and attains the pleasure of ALLAH in comparison to that person who may do a lot of good deeds but all end in vain due to sinning at the same time.
So my humble readers, few more days are left for us to rectify our souls and to cleanse and drain our souls from all the filth we have drowned it in from the past eleven months. This blessed month is for us to cleanse our soul to attain spirituality and for us to wipe the slate clean. Lets get up and vow to work hard and build our bank balance of the hereafter so that we may have a pleasant time in this world and most importantly a pleasant abode in the hereafter.
Please do remember this writer and the nation (Ummah) of the messenger of ALLAH the Almighty Muhammad (peace and blessings of ALLAH the Almighty be upon him in abundance) and all the people in general in your humble prayers and supplications (Duas). May ALLAH the Almighty unite our hearts and make us one and may ALLAH the Almighty accept our efforts in learning, preaching and in propagating his religion (Deen). Ameen.
I end by saying all praises are due to the Almighty ALLAH, owner of the heavens and the earth. Peace be upon all the prophets and messengers of the Almighty ALLAH especially upon our master Muhammad (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon them all in abundance).
